Many years ago, I borrowed from a friend and read a book titled "Flipped." It was cute, funny, and didn't downplay what young teens could go through. Then many months back I saw a trailer for a movie based on the book "Flipped" and titled as such. I forgot about it until last night, when I found it and watched it. And it was just as cute and funny as the book. It didn't downplay any emotions or such. They had the sycamore tree, the chickens, the basketboys, everything. The young actors were great with playing that awkward I-don't-understand-my-feelings stage of life. Madeline Carroll played Juli Baker, and Callan McAuliffe played Bryce Loski.
