Flying Forward

Alyson Stoner released her first single "Flying Forward" on iTunes. I like it. If her album sounds like this, I might just buy it. "Flying Forward" has a feel good beat. It's the kind of song that I'd play while cruising around in my car, windows down and the coast on one side. And it's a break-up song. Or a relationship (whatever kind of relationship) over song. Thank you, Alyson. I'm tired of "angry" songs and/or musicians. Read the lyrics below and you'll find out that this song doesn't dwell on the negative. It acknowledges what happened and then concentrates on...well, flying forward. I've always gotten positive vibes from Alyson's YouTube videos, and it's in this song as well. She did co-write the song, so kudos.

Here are the lyrics:
"Flying Forward"
by Alyson Stoner
This is my time
A send off to you
Separate lies from the truth
How I'd run to you
And believed I was safe in your hold
Now I see through you
As I let go

I'm flying forward
Above the past
Into who I am
Soar above the skies
Flying forward
I see the path
I know what lies ahead
And Im never going back again

When the rain begins
I don't have to fall
And if the storm rolls in
I can dance through it all
The sweet surrender
Of a heart
Being set free
And I remember where
I want to be

Flying forward
Above the past
Into who I am
Soar above the skies
Flying forward
I see the path
I know what lies ahead
And Im never going back again

And I won't look away
From where Ive been
Cause Ive learned from my mistakes
I am changed
I am changed

Ohh
No Im never holding back again
No Im never going back again

Flying forward
Above the past into who I am
Soar above the skies
Flying forward
I see the path
I know what lies ahead
Flying forward
Flying forward
Oh Im flying
Said Im flying

And Im never going back again
No Im never going back again
