Influenster: Flawless VoxBox Review

I received the Flawless VoxBox from Influenster for free to review. All the opinions are my own.

Here's what's inside:
Dr. Teal's Epsom Salt
Harvest Snaps Snapea Crisps
Covergirl So Lashy! Mascara
Sinful Colors Kylie Jenner collection
Simple Makeup Wipes & Micellar Water
Yogi Tea in Honey Lavender and Soothing Rose Hibiscus
Ebates

Dr. Teal's Epsom Salt is great for soaking tired feet. In a basin, dissolve it in warm water and soak the tiredness away. I recommend moisturizing your feet afterwards with a moisturizing lotion and lock in that moisture by putting on some socks.

I love the Harvest Snaps Snapea Crisps long before I received this VoxBox. It is delicious and addicting, without as much calories as other snacks. It comes in a variety of flavors like Lightly Salted (the one above), Ceasar, Black Pepper, and Wasabi Ranch. I've tasted the first two. I've also tasted their Lentil Snaps in Tomato Basil. Yum!

The Covergirl So Lashy! Mascara works so well in coating the tiny lashes in the inner corner and with precision application on the outer corner lashes because of its ball tip. The formula is creamy, but not wet. One coat goes a long way.

The Sinful Colors nailpolish was a pretty pink/red. Great for the holidays! One coat has great coverage. I tested it on my pinkie finger with no base coat and no top coat. It lasted well over a week before signs of chipping. I don't recommend not using a base coat though because it's important to protect your natural nails.

The Simple Makeup Wipes and Micellar Water worked very well in removing makeup. The Micellar Water really removes makeup residue I didn't even realize was still on my skin. The wipes have a great balance (not too dry, not too wet), and doesn't sting.

The Yogi Tea were delicious and comforting. I prefer fruity and sweet teas and these were great. I always add a lot of honey to my tea.

I have not tested the Ebates as of writing this blog.

Influenster Review: Leftovers on Top Oreida Totchos Recipe

Tater tots bring me back to my childhood, so I was excited to receive a coupon from Influenster for a free bag of Ore-Ida Tater Tots. Seeing the different totchos (tater tot nachos) on the Kraft Recipes Totchos Hub was inspiring! But my mama taught me not to waste food, so when a bunch of leftovers sprung up one evening, I knew they could come together to make delicious totchos! So check out my Leftovers On Top Ore-Ida Totchos recipe!

Leftovers On Top Ore-Ida Totchos

Ingredients:
All ingredient quantity will depend on the amount of leftovers you have, as well as your taste preference. For example, if you love it spicy, pile on the salsa! Love cheese? Pile on the cheese!

Ore-Ida Tater Tots
Leftover carnitas (any other kind of leftover meat would work, but shred it up or cut into bite size pieces)
Leftover gravy
Shredded cheese (I used the Filipino Eden cheese, but any good melting cheese would work, like cheddar, a pizza or Mexican blend, etc)
Salsa
Sour cream
Optional: chopped cilantro (for the picture, I used dried parsley)

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Ore-Ida Tater Tots according to directions.
2. While still hot, pile the Ore-Ida Tater Tots on a serving plate and sprinkle with cheese.
3. Add the carnitas and gravy. If, at this point, your tots are no longer hot or the cheese is not melted, you can microwave it for about 30 seconds or place it under a broiler (make sure you use a broiler safe platter or serving dish) until the cheese is melted.
4. Add the sour cream, salsa, and cilantro.
5. Enjoy before it's gone!

Influenster Review: KISS True Volume Lashes

The very first time I tried to use false eyelashes was an EPIC fail. When I found the KISS True Volume Lashes and Lash Glue with Aloe Vera, I was determined to make it work. I have to at least give it my 110% because I received these products free from Influenster to try and to review.

So it took me a while to get the first one on because I was nervous and unsure of myself, but I managed to get the 2nd one on easily.

I first curled my own lashes and applied mascara. Then, I applied just enough lash glue on the false lashes. Carefully, I placed it as close to my lash line as possible. I did my left eye first. I repeated the same process with my right eye.

I found it easier to use my fingers to apply the false lashes instead of tweezers. I also placed the left one too close to the inner corner of my eye so when applying the second false lashes, I made sure to adjust the placement.

Using the end of an eyeshadow brush helped me push the lashes in the place. I had to work quickly because the glue dried fairly fast. I applied eyeliner over the false lashes to blend it with the rest of my makeup.

It really gave my eyes volume! I think with a little bit more practice, I can put these on again with ease.

Influenster Review: Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

Heading to snow, I knew I needed to bring a good lotion or cream to keep my skin hydrated and moisturized. I had just received the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream from Influenster (free to review) and decided to test it out.

It worked wonderfully.

The Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream did what it claims to do, moisturize skin. It creamy and not greasy or runny. It is also unscented, so there are no offensive or strong scents. It absorbs into the skin quickly. The only downside to this product is the packaging. The screw on lid was easy to lose. It's not ideal on-the-go or in-between sledding down a snowy hill. However, it's great to keep this handy in your bag or purse because it really works.

I received this product free from Influenster to try and review. All opinions are my own.
